christmas 2014

Christmas was amazing this year, as always.  Ellie being two made it pretty magical and special.  We got to do some things that we haven't done before with her (go look at Christmas lights, begin our Elf on the Shelf tradition, etc.) and that was extremely wonderful to me.  We crammed a lot into a few weeks of the Christmas season, and with only one weekend of the flu bug getting us down (and a missed Polar Express opportunity :(), I would say it was an extremely successful time filled with family and friends!  We are blessed!

Ellie and Erin at our School's Christmas Pajama Party/Literacy Night (and the start of our flu bug weekend)

Cammie did so amazing at her Christmas Show!

Love this little girl to pieces!

Rainbow had a bring a friend week and Cam brought E :)
Acting silly, of course :)

Look what mom found while she was Christmas shopping!  Ellie will be ready for our Disney trip next year in December!

About to go to church, eat dinner with Mommy and Daddy, and then go look at Christmas lights!

Of course we had to stop by Graeter's that night, too.

The last day of school before break, me, Amie, Marci, Jess, and Erin went to Nashville to see Justin Timberlake in concert.  We had an AWESOME time!!

Elle during our Christmas celebration with the Lawrence's.

Christmas morning, Bailey got to put on Ellie's new Anna gown!

Aunt Caitie and Uncle Soon got Ellie a vanity.  How pretty!

The Lewis girls all together :)

Ellie had some awesome surprises from Santa!

She got a princess bike!!

Of course, Brohdi was exhausted from it all.

thanksgiving 2014

Thanksgiving is always my favorite holiday.  It's the true beginning of the Christmas season.  We actually had a snow day the Monday before Thanksgiving week, which is really crazy, but I put up my tree super early this year because of the extra time.  I am so thankful I did because we got to have the beauty of it light our living room for an extra week!  Love our Thanksgiving traditions!
Yay!  All finished!  Love my Cinderella tree :)  It looks beautiful with my new house décor.  This is our first year in our new house for Christmas.  We moved in last January.

Ellie loved her time with her cousins at Pammie and Jim's house!

Ellie and Paige

Caitie came out with us for a little bit during our Black Friday extravaganza.  It lasted from 10 PM to 10 AM!

Look at Nana's bags!

That is a successful night!!!

We had to cram Amie in the back of the Jeep.

Brohdi was exhausted, of course.

swim lessons

Ellie Ann started swim lessons in October.  She was doing so well during the first two lessons and then something spooked her out.  We are now in Mom and Tot classes each week, but she is loving the water more and more.

a day with dad at his "work"

Nick had an event down on the Falls of the Ohio and we got to go be with him for a little bit.  They had some fun activities for Ellie and we decided to partake... even if it was more than a little chilly down there :)

She loved the peddle cars!

Making her mark on Clarksville history :)

Love those little glasses on her :)

And she is worn out.  Good thing we brought blankie and Anna so they could rest with her!

frozen on ice!

Frozen has been all the rage around here lately, and we saw that there was a show in Nashville the first weekend of Fall Break.  We decided that would be an awesome mini-vacation for us, so we went :)  We ate at Margaritaville after checking into our hotel and then went to the show.  Since the boys didn't want to go with us, they went out and saw the town.  We didn't see them until much later in the night.  The next day, we went to the Nashville Zoo.  It was awesome!  I loved seeing another zoo besides the Louisville Zoo and their exhibits were really interesting.  What a great start to our two week break!

Ellie was ready to go!

The girls' first taxi ride

Waiting for the show... see that light saber thing?  That is why Amie didn't see over half the show... Ellie sat on her lap and just had that thing going the whole time.  Good thing Amie loves her so much.

Loving the Frozen on Ice!

The next day, just hanging out at the hotel after breakfast.

Nashville Zoo with the beautiful flamingoes!

This train ride.  It took you around a microscopic circle.  The girls loved it though.

Someone had a great time!

how has it been a year?

Life has kind of gotten away from me this past year with keeping up with the blog.  My hope is to backdate as soon as possible on all of our milestones and accomplishments!  Ellie Bellie is getting so big and I want her to be able to look back on this for some amazing memories :)  Now, since I wrote this one, I have to go back and update, right?!?!

new baby cousin, sky!

Ellie now has a second cousin!  Sky Elizabeth Allen was born in early May and we love her so much already!  We can't wait for them to move back to the Kentuckiana area from Los Angeles so that we can play with her more!

Love these two :)
