cleveland rocks!

Nick and I went up to Cleveland to visit Carol and Kevin (Nick's aunt and uncle) for a night.  Kevin graciously offered us tickets to the Indians vs. Reds game, and I had never been to another MLB park other than Cincinnati.  Crazy, I know.  Huge baseball fan and only been to one stadium.  But now, I have been to two.  It was a great weekend!

People LOVED the Joey Votto screenprint.  What a great find at the Maxx by Amie!

Cheese and caramel popcorn mixed.  AMAZING.  My favorite thing about that ballpark, lol.

I dragged Nick to the outlet malls in Jeffersonville, Ohio on the way home.  Look what we found for Marie!

cam's dance recital

Camryn has found a new love this year... dance!  We loved watching her in her first big recital.  She shined on that stage and new all of her dance positions perfectly.  It was awesome getting to watch her do something that she loves so much!  We love you, Cammie Marie!

Of course, we had to go to Logan's after the recital... Cam's favorite place!

new year, same old creds

Well, it looks to be another cruddy year for the Cincinnati Reds.  While we love our team dearly, we really wish we could see them be awesome for once.  I miss a few years ago being in the playoff contingencies.  However, a year will never go by without us going to a few games.  Nick and I had awesome seats for one of the first weekends, and then we went for Nick's birthday.  I was really sick and felt terrible for bringing everyone down on such a fun occasion, but such is life sometimes.
I do love a spring baseball game!

ellie is free (or three to most of us)!

How can our Ellie Bellie be three?  I feel like I was just on the way to the hospital, part excited, part terrified.  She has brought more joy to me than I ever thought was possible.  Even on my roughest days, I can look at her and know that I have done something right in my life.  She is quirky, loving, hilarious, stubborn, and just plain old awesome.  We got our pictures taken for her three year old birthday a few weeks before the big day.  We have never used Ashley Bowen Photography before, but she was amazing.  Quick and easy, just like we want it for a three year old :)

Her actual birthday was on a Saturday this year, but Mommy and Daddy took off on Friday the 8th to celebrate with a special trip.  Amie let Cam play hooky from preschool, and we went to the Children's Museum in Indianapolis for the day.  We had to go to Kosair in Brownsboro first to get a hip x-ray done with Eliot (to make sure we could move forward with physical therapy), and then we were on our way!  We had a blast!  Walt and Haley met us up there and we all got to play with our two favorite girls.

The next day, we had just as much fun.  We had a soccer game in the morning and got to pass out birthday treats to everyone after the game.  After that, we went home to get ready for the family party.  Ellie wanted spaghetti and bacon flavored chips for her birthday party, so that is what she got :)  It was so much fun celebrating with our family and was a wonderful weekend showing Ellie that she is so amazing.

The next morning was Mother's Day, so we went out to breakfast with my Mom and Grandma Sandie.  What a great weekend!
